Sorry I haven't
logged onto my computer in awhile. I now weigh 158 pounds.
I am still making progress. I am doing my best to eat a lot of salads,
spinach and cups of chicken bouillon using the cubes. There is only 5 calories
in a cube and it is quite filling. I also had to give up coffee and
alcohol which I did. I am drinking decaf coffee now and eating cereal
and popcorn to get the grains I need. I am not eating as much meat
as I used to. [...] I have not yet tackled the daily exercise.
I know this will make the difference I need.
You, Doris,
are the biggest inspiration to everyone and I hope your site continues.
There are so many people out there who can use your help. I like
the idea of everything being public so anyone out there can get help if
they need it. If you weren't public, how would I have found you?

Well I have
done it! I followed the diet and now I weigh 214 lbs. A loss of 36
lbs and I am so proud of my self. I am going to continue with the neg cal
diet and hope to get down to around 160. Thanks for the advice. Love

Well i found that Danish Diet to
be easy to follow, til about day 12, then i started wanting other things.
but i stuck with it. the hardest part i found was eating spinach, especially
boiled. it wasn't my favorite, and the lamb it was tough, but
there wasn't to much of it to deal with, i kinda did what my kids do, held
my breath and swallowed.....lol, and about my future weight loss
plans, i am planning on picking up the book, Foods That Cause you to Lose
Weight, The Negative Calorie Effect. and read that and eat more NC Foods.
i want to lose weight and get in the 130lb range. or as close and
i can where i am comfortable. Since i started up with my Exersice
tape i am going to continue with it. I am Very Thankful to you Doris
for putting up your web site, and allowing people like me to be able to
get such a great start. i have a couple friends that have already gotten
the address from me. I have mini goal at the moment, i am planning
on getting my hair cut when i get my weight at 200lbs. then i will

This is my 11th day and I feel great.
Not just because I lost about 14lbs. on this diet but because it really
prepared me for the next phase of my metamorphose, which is to lose 70lbs.
I am going to use the "Fit for Life" diet by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond.
It is very similar to the negative calorie concept. When I read this
book, I thought 'this is what i need, a guide for a lifestyle change, not
just another diet'. Sometimes we think we can change habits that
took all of our lives to establish in a very short period of time. I think
life is a precious treasure, but if I don't value my own how can I value

I am now day 5 of the Danish Diet,
I have lost 10 Kgs.
There is not a lot of physical
difference, but I feel better, and intend to pursue it.
Thus far I am still constantly
hungry, but it helps to see the initial results. I was 136 Kg. I'm now

After 10 days I now weigh 125 Kgs,
and yes my clothes feel more comfortable, as you know for my height I have
a long way to go, I think I would be at a desirable weight if I reduced
to 90 Kgs. Three more day's to go. [Thursday, Jan 20, 2000]

Well, I have stuck to the Danish
Diet for the duration 13 Days. I have lost 13 Kgs. I was 136 Kgs, now I'm
123 Kgs. I intend to loose until I'm 90 Kgs. Doris knows what she is talking
about. In my opinion, to be successful, you need two parties to assist
you. Doris to prescribe, & someone to prepare the food. Thank you.

Anyway, the Danish Diet was extremely
difficult, but very worth the result. My ending weight was 150 LBS.
This means that I lost 15 LBS in the 13 days. It is now Thursday, Jan 20th

I have to say since you have shown
me the right way to eat, I feel great physically and emotionally. I stopped
all the pills and powders and what not, just ate right and feel great.
People are coming back to my park now and I am getting compliments all
the time which I also think boosts your self esteem and confidence, which
in turn helps you feel better emotionally!
As for the "diet" (Negative Calorie)
I had plenty to eat. I was never hungry and I surprised myself because
I actually Think I ate less than before. BUT... I wasn't hungry!!!!
If you don't put anything else
on your web site... Put this... [D] you have been a godsend to me. You
understood what I was going through, You helped me figure out what was
keeping me from losing, and pushed me in the right direction. I will be
forever be grateful and never forget you. A little discipline and a lot
of faith... moderation and motivation. If anyone wants to lose weight
bad enough, this is the way to go. What did I get out of this? I'm
feeling better, I'm looking better and I got a good friend out of this.
