After the Danish diet...

  • First, you take a deep breath (during which you don't eat...), go over again
    STEP 1 (motivation) and continue with your plan to reach the ideal... (red dress, you know)
  • You'll feel that your stomach got "smaller" (dear him). Now you'll feel "full" sooner, with less food – which is very good.
  • Take advantage of your result, congratulate yourself, and DON'T start eating like before the diet !!! NO WAY.
    By now, you should understand that food must not be an obsession. You are strong! Keep up the good work.

  • Take a look at your table / graphic. See HOW you lost weight. Be a pal to your body... Understand its needs. 
    Now, after the Danish Diet you should be VERY happy for losing weight. Don't feel desperate (I was...) thinking of how many other kilos/pounds you have to loose in the future. This was just a GOOD start. Just the beginning. And a very promising one.

  • We have a saying: one build a house putting one brick on the top of another. Step by step... Keep up the good work you've done so far!

  • Do you have regular bowel? If not, this is a problem, but usually, problems can be solved... Eat lot's of... spinach, cabbage (cellulose). Chinese say that you must have daily three bowels (I wish...). I'm satisfied if I have one... You can use special herbal teas. I found a chinese tea called Sanye anti-adipose tea. I drink an infusion at 5-6 p.m., and next morning... BIG success. Don't exaggerate with laxatives, it's not good for your health. Try to solve this problem mainly by choice of food. I even gave up the tea – not needed anymore!
  • Avoid taking pills... drugs... chemicals....

  • After the Danish Diet I went to my doctor - my tests were OK, but I felt I weren't able to keep another diet in my life ever again... if you know what I mean (nervous breakdown, they call it...)

    I asked about Isolipan – a drug I just heard about. From april to june 97 I was on Isolipan (you were not supposed to take Isolipan more than 3 months/year) and I was also keeping food restrictions (cakes, sweets...). Isolipan was supposed to reduce the secretion of hydrochloric acid that generates the "starving" or "craving" sensation. In one word, Isolipan reduced my appetite. Isolipan had a LONG list of secondary effects, out of which I had (only) two:
    1. OVERsleeping and
    2. frequent urination. I mean FREQUENT!!!
    But I kept loosing weight after using Isolipan also, due to my food "selection".

    Which was the main factor in loosing weight. FOOD. I realized that after "torturing" my body with chemicals.
    • I recently found out that Isolipan is not produced anymore, because of its secondary effects. I was fortunate...
    You see, this is the risk with drugs, pills and wonder-chemical-substances: you end up by finding out (sometimes too late) that in fact they weren't SO healthy as they pretended to be... You buy it, you use it, you (might) get sick in time, who cares? Well, YOU care. Be aware of what you are doing to your body.
    Remember my gum problems and hair loss – WELL? can you be sure of the cause? – I decided to go for a healthy diet: natural food, selected and combined carefully...

    Why ingest chemicals when you can naturally loose weight? You can easily reduce your appetite with fruits / vegetables / water.
     
  • After 13 days of diet, and after looking at your graphic, it's time for you to think how to "create" your personal diet. Check the negative calories concept and my tasty recipes. Be patient. Victory is close... Now you have experience and (hopefully) became a pal with your body.
  • I found out (in May, 1998) that 2 weeks after the Danish Diet one recommends to have the garlic tincture diet – good for eliminating the cellulite.
    • My Diary: Today, May 25th 1998 I started my garlic "drops". I know it's one year too late, but still... I'm trying. Lately I gained 3 kilos (yes, I'm a little pig - but we had Easter ...) My mouth is like a flower (garlic one).
    Well, don't be scared, it's not THAT bad. Drink milk or yogurt, it helps...

Garlic tincture diet

  Preparation: Peel and chop 350 gr. (~ 12 ounces) of garlic and mix it with 200 ml. (7 ounces) alcohol (concentration: 95-98 degrees or % – that's VERY strong)

Put it in a dark colored glass bottle. Put the bottle in a dark place, for 10 days.
After 10 days, filter the solution, keep only the liquid part and put it in a clean bottle.

Take drops of this tincture according to left table, for 11 days. Put the drops in 50 ml of milk and drink them before meals.

  • Well, don't ask me how it is. (It think Rasputin gained a kind of immunity doing the same thing with cyanide...)

  • Drop by drop... there goes your cellulite... Don't know what to say, girls, boys... but looking at my skin no one believes I'm as old as I am...
NOTE: the alcohol used here is usually available in drug stores (pharmacies). 
  • You won't actually DRINK IT! You'll just use a few DROPS, as specified in the left table.
  • You can even ask the pharmacist to prepare the tincture for you...
  • Or try prepare it yourself: advice from a herbalist
  • If you have a problem with alcohol, you can try Glycerin-extracted tinctures!

More about tinctures...

Tinctures, or liquid extracts, are often absorbed up to 40% better than capsules or tablets because the herb's active components have been extracted and separated from the plant's indigestable cellulose and starch. Grain alcohols are the solvents of choice for tincture makers because they extract plant chemicals better than water or glycerine and carry those components into your body more efficiently. And, the amount of alcohol in a suggested dosage of most alcohol tinctures is equal to the amount of alcohol in a ripe banana!

Glycerin-extracted tinctures are available for those people who want to avoid alcohol: children and  pets, and porphyrics, for example. You can also evaporate the alcohol by bringing a little water to a boil, adding drops of tincture, simmering gently, then drinking the water. (read more)
