How to lose weight – my weight loss experience

Motto: You can do it. So...DO IT !
  From my diary...

Anno domini 1998

I'm 39 years old, 1,67 m height (5 ft 6 in) and 77 kg (169 lb.). In 1997 I was 37 years, same height and... 105 kg (231 lb.) (very hard to carry that with me...)

I have one (only) splendid husband and one beautiful daughter (should I mention the dog also?). It should be a pity not to share with you what I've been thru and what are my conclusions...
So ACTION please !

There has been some time (1997) since I started my GD (Great Diet...), a weight loss "adventure" that changed my life.

After 13 days of diet – Danish Diet – I continued with a "custom designed diet" based on the Negative Calorie Concept

The Danish Diet gave me hope –I CAN lose weight! – and confidence –I LOST weight! (5 kg, about ~11 lb.)

The Negative Calorie Diet did the rest (23 kg, about ~51 lb.). I've learned a lot during these months... about my body, about how to wisely choose foods that help you lose weight and stay healthy.

Girls (and boys), from those 105 kg (231 lb.) that I use to have in march 1997, I arrived at 77 kg (169 lb.) in march 1998. Impressive, isn't it? I can't believe it either. In fact, few people believe that - fortunately I have pictures and videos with me (Mobydick... was my name then). I'm trying not to throw away these pictures, since they are a good reminder of what can happen if you don't care or pay attention...

It's important to get to know your body, what makes YOU fat (sweets, fats etc.), what makes YOU feel better (or not).
I don't believe in "valid-for-all" diets - as they say there aren't diseases, but only patients... Well, we can speak for hours about that, let's drop it!

Considering my success, I bet you want to know some tips for losing weight. Here they are... Start reading and enjoy!
